Country Concert was founded in the late 1970s by Mike and Mary Jo Barhorst’s. It started as a wedding anniversary cookout for family and friends. Louise Mandrell headlined the first year, setting the stage for Country Concert to become the region’s largest annual gathering of country music fans. Since then, some of the biggest names in country music have performed, from Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynne and George Jones to Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley.
An annual tradition since 1974. Its Oktoberfest celebration draws over 80,000 visitors who enjoy a weekend packed full of fun. Activities include a car show, a parade, and the Beer Tray Relay.When you need a break from the action, enjoy a sausage and sauerkraut sandwich with German potato salad and a pint of your favorite beer.
The 10-acre, free admission cycling center that offers advanced, intermediate and beginners' trails along with a bicycle playground for children and a trail for walking and easy riding. The Dayton Bike Yard was a $1.8 million project that completely remade Welcome Park, which is located at 1437 Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, behind Welcome Stadium and Bonbright Distributors in the Carillon neighborhood.

This is Dayton’s premier festival and one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the Midwest. Bonbright has been the presenting beer distributor at the event for over 3 decades. Come bring your beer stein and choose from over 40 different beers.
